Permission to begin before you know the ending

What do you write in a planner when you don’t know what you want anymore?

The Becoming… Identity Planner & Journal

Before you set another goal or map out the next year, this gives you somewhere to tell the truth about where you are, what you’re carrying and what no longer fits. It isn’t another place to prove how disciplined, productive or put together you can be. It’s a way to separate who you are from what you accomplish, return to the truth God has already given you and see what this season is actually asking of you. You are allowed to start there.

The pattern underneath the plan

You don’t need another place to prove how disciplined, productive or put together you can be.

When achievement has become one of the ways you measure your worth, even planning can become another performance. The five-year vision, the quarterly goals and the habits you need to track quietly ask you to produce a better version of yourself before you have had space to understand the woman standing here now.

Staying here has a cost: another season spent mistaking pressure for purpose and using productivity as proof that you are enough.

You can be surrounded by people who love you and still feel alone in a life that no longer feels like yours. When you’re exhausted from performing, even the question “What do I want?” can feel harder than it should.

The Becoming… begins before the goals. It helps you separate your identity from your output, notice what you have been carrying to feel successful, worthy or accepted, and create enough quiet to recognize what still belongs, what God may be inviting you to release and what deserves your attention in this season.

Identity before ambition

Before you decide what to do next, come back to who you are and whose you are.

The Becoming Wheel brings eight parts of your life into one honest picture: identity, faith, calling, work, body, relationships, joy and money. You mark where you are today and where you sense you are becoming, not to judge the distance between them, but to discern where truth, care and change are needed now.

What begins to change

The payoff isn’t a completed planner. It’s finally seeing where you’re still paying the price of proving your worth.

A completed week stops deciding how you feel about yourself.

The next goal, perfectly managed schedule or checked box no longer has to earn your worth for you.

The difference between calling and pressure gets easier to recognize.

As the noise clears, you can see what is yours to carry, what God may be asking you to release and what deserves your attention now.

Your decisions no longer have to begin with everyone else’s approval.

You can make the next choice from the truth of who you are, instead of asking the version of you trained to perform to keep leading your life.

What happens once you open it

You begin with your life as it is, not the version you think you should have figured out by now.

The first part of the journal helps you take an honest look at what has changed, what you have been carrying and where the strain is showing up across your identity, faith, calling, work, body, relationships, joy and money. From there, you move into permission, a word and Scripture for the season, then begin carrying what you have uncovered into the way you plan your months, tend to your relationships and make decisions.

The quarterly and monthly pages return to the same rhythm on purpose. You aren’t answering them from the same place each time. They let you notice what is changing, what keeps asking for your attention and whether the life you are building still belongs to the woman you are becoming.

A look inside

This is where the honest work begins.

These are real pages from the Planner: space to see where you are, name what you need permission to release or choose, and return to what is true as the year unfolds.

Why I made this

I created this in the middle of my own becoming.

“Every planner I picked up wanted me to set goals. Write my five-year vision. Track my habits. And I kept thinking, I don’t even know who I am right now. How am I supposed to plan from here?

So I made this. Not for the woman who has it figured out, but for the one who’s in the middle of figuring it out. Somewhere to put it all down long enough to finally see herself clearly.”
